Calling All Santa Clarita 1st Time Buyers!

The time has arrived, finally some representation! Over the past year I have built my business piece by piece to cater to and specialize in Santa Clarita first time buyers. There are a lot of you out there! While any Realtor can "help" a first time buyer, it is my belief that this vast group of buyers needs someone that specializes in their circumstance.

I am making it clear about my "specialty" this month when my Full Page ad in the Homes & Land magazine hits the stands! The same ad will be around in January as well - so be sure to pick it up! It is the most widely circulated real estate magazine in Santa Clarita, so you will have no problem finding it.

Why am I putting 70% of my marketing efforts to first time buyers? GREAT questions! Not only do identify with most of them on a personal level, but I too recently made my first purchase of a home for my family. Not just any Realtor can be successful in this venture and start being referred to by OTHER recent first time home buyers, here is why:

 - It takes a deep knowledge of the area you serve, I happen to be a 28+ year resident of Santa Clarita, and this is a huge asset to my first time home buyers, and just about any buyer or seller in that case.

- It takes a lot of patience. Santa Clarita first time home buyers have a lot of questions. They have a lot of fears. Uncertainty about the largest transaction they will likely make is just plain normal. So, you can't expect Santa Clarita's top producer and listing agent to sit around and wait for Mr or Mrs/Miss First time home buyer to make up their mind for 6 months and actually stay interested. As a first time home buyer you need to deal with someone who understands its not best to make rash decisions on your first purchase, and you will need to be given your time and space - not be pushed, in order for you to contemplate the transaction at hand.

- It takes connections. Now more than ever, first time home buyers in Santa Clarita need to find great deals! From new home builders to top listing agents, I have made connections in this business. Many listing agents call me now about their "new" listings and "deals". They know I have buyers, and they would prefer to deal with me as they have in past transactions.

- It takes organization and resources. First time home buyers are probably some of the most tech savvy clients I have had. I have built my business so that technology is at the center of it all. You can see from my website - which is RANKED #1 real estate site in California by www.Point2Homes.com *, that my buyers will have the best resources available to them when working with me on their first purchase. Not only do I provide the resources to succeed, and succeed WELL, but I have the organization to compliment it all. First time buyers, honestly, can be unorganized! The process is such that you don't have time to worry about x, w, and z - you just need to find the home you like, and get the financing in order. So I am there all along the way to keep you up to date on the transaction and organized so the total experience is a memorable one.

- It takes personality. You are kind of nervous as a Santa Clarita first time home buyer - and there is reason to be considering the financial weight of the transaction. Here is some news. When they gave us our Real Estate license - they forgot to give us a personality test! While there are a lot of excellent Realtors out there and ones that have more personality than you can fit in a warehouse, you need to make sure that you align yourself with someone that can break that ice, and make the process a smooth and easy one for you. If your Realtor isn't eager and excited to be helping you with a smile, maybe its time to consider an alternative! After all - when you get into escrow, you are practically married to your Realtor for about 30-60 days! Might as well "like" them!
