   Newhall, Ca is a town with a rich history, dating back to the late 1870's. Well known for the first Gold and Oil discoveries in California, Newhall, named after Henry Mayo Newhall, was also a residence for the famous old western movie star William S Hart. Hart deeded his beautiful 22 room mansion which sits on 265 acres to Los Angeles County and now serves as one of Santa Clarita's most notable museums and attractions today.
